What FITZ PHONE Does
Built on an emerald-and-brass Irish console design, FITZ PHONE runs incoming audio through analog-style filtering to create three distinct character modes:
- Telephone — narrow bandpass filtering that mimics the intimacy and bandwidth limits of a landline call
- Megaphone — mid-forward resonance with subtle distortion for the authoritative bullhorn sound
- AM Radio — lo-fi modulation and noise that recreates the nostalgic crackle of amplitude-modulated broadcast
Each mode includes a drive control for adding harmonic saturation, plus a wet/dry mix knob for parallel processing. The plugin excels on vocals, drums, synths, and any source needing instant lo-fi character.
